Visa Application

You can visit Bhutan for up to 90 days. In addition to the visa fee (if applicable), a daily Sustainable Development Fee (SDF) applies. The SDF funds work in healthcare, education, tourism, infrastructure, culture, and the environment, while also supporting local businesses. It helps preserve Bhutan’s forests and carbon neutrality, ensuring a tranquil and intimate experience for visitors.

​1. Passport Size Photograph

  • Should not be older than six months

  • Should be color copy, portrait style with eyes open and forehead & ears clearly visible

  • Should be in white background without border

2. Requirement for Passport

  • The passport must be valid for six months from the intended date of departure from Bhutan

  • Passport copy should be in JPEG or PNG format
