Bhutan, the Land of the Medicinal Herbs, sits tucked between two of the world’s giants: India and China, giving it a unique geopolitical weight. With only about 800,000 people, Bhutan’s story is one of survival, diplomacy, and cultural resilience. Yet it is the people—their warmth, quiet strength, and spiritual depth—who turn this mountain kingdom into more than a destination, but a sanctuary worth visiting.
