Refund Policy

We understand that sometimes plans change. This Refund Policy outlines when you may be entitled to a refund and how refunds are processed.

1. Full Payments

  • The balance of the Program fee is due when booking is confirmed or 10 calendar days before departure.

  • If you cancel after paying the full fee:

  1. 14 days or more before the Program: Full refund minus applicable cost, refer 3. non-refundable cost. 

  2. Less than 14 days before the Program: no refund.

2. Cancellations by Nibbana Trails

If we must cancel your Program due to circumstances beyond your control (e.g., minimum numbers not met, safety concerns, or Force Majeure such as natural disasters or pandemics), you may choose:

  • A full refund, or

  • A credit toward a future journey.

3. Non-Refundable Costs

Some costs are not recoverable once paid to third-party suppliers (e.g., airline tickets, visa fees, Sustainable Development Fees). These will be deducted from any refund where applicable.

4. Australian Consumer Law (ACL)

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a refund or replacement where there is a major failure of our services, and to compensation for any reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

5. Refund Processing

  • Bank processing times may vary, and we are not responsible for delays once funds are released.
